About Me:
I grew up in Alberta, Canada, and earned degrees at universities in Quebec and Oregon before settling in Montana, where I now live my husband, our two sons, and an assortment of dogs, cats, and horses. My professional background includes more than twenty years of experience as a practicing SLP, working in a wide range of settings with clients ranging from infancy to adulthood. My clinical interests include autism, neurodiversity, multiculturalism, literacy, and language development. As an instructor and clinical educator, I am passionate about teaching and mentoring students on their journey to become competent, ethical, and culturally responsive speech/language pathologists. In addition to being an SLP, I am also a fiction writer, and I believe that my skills in this area enhance my ability to help clients and students with literacy-related needs.
