Description

Within the programmatic themes of integration of ideas, cooperative endeavors, and respect for learning and individual worth, it is our goal to prepare education professionals who will work in K-12 classrooms and teacher education programs and as district curriculum leaders.

Master of Education (M.Ed.) - 37 credits minimum, professional project, and comprehensive examination

        Options:

             Elementary Education (does not include initial K-8 elementary licensure)

             Curriculum Studies  

                      initial teacher licensure at elementary/middle level K-8

                      initial teacher licensure at middle/secondary level 5-12

                      special education and endorsement K-12 (requires additional K-8 elementary license or 5-12 secondary license)

                      instructional design for technology

                      general curriculum studies (student and advisor plan 18 elective credits)

             Library Media

             Literacy Education

             Secondary Education (does not include initial secondary teaching licensure)

Master of Education (M.Ed.) Online - 33 credits minimum including mini-thesis professional project
